The Rapture & The Seven Year Tribulation

"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words." (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).

This scripture is talking about what we as Christians call "The Rapture." It was promised by Jesus in Matthew 24, that we would see certain undeniable signs that His return was very near. He said, “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains." (Matthew 24:4-8).  He gives the same warnings in Luke 21. “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them. When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away. Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven." (Luke 21:8-11). He also issued a warning "“There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the seas. People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:25-28).

So, let's review: Wars, rumors of wars, nation against nation (which when translated means "race against race." Kingdom against kingdom, (Gog/Magog, see Ezekiel 38-39 & Psalm 83), earthquakes in various places, famines and false Christs, signs in the sun moon and stars (which is happening now! See Acts 2:20). The first blood moon occurred earlier this year, on April 15th. I went outside at about 1 AM Pacific Time and I SAW IT! This is NOT A JOKE! IT IS REAL! The second one hits in October, then there will be a total eclipse of the sun and then two more blood moons in April 2015 and September 2015. But as Jesus said, don't let these things freak you out! It's just God's billboard in the sky, sending a sign to the Jews and to the rest of the world that His return is VERY NEAR! God used a star to guide the Three Wisemen to the manger in Bethlehem so they could worship Jesus! He's doing it again right now and we need to pay attention! (See Joel 2:30-31).

Look at the world right now? IT'S ON FIRE! There is a reason for all of this, and though I am completely stymied on some of it, there is one thing I believe very strongly! In Revelation 4:1, the Apostle John, imprisoned on the Island of Patmos because of his faith in Christ and spreading the Gospel, was taken to heaven and was given a vision for the end times, which is known as the Seven Year Tribulation. This scripture is a definite promise for the rest of us, that one day the Lord will come on clouds, with the sound of a trumpet and take us to heaven! Are you ready for a 1/2 millisecond elevator ride? I AM! I can't wait to go home and be with God!  As for the seven seals, seven bowls and seven trumpets, we will have escaped those judgments because we will be in heaven celebrating the Marriage Supper of the Lamb and going through the Bema Seat Judgment! We will give an account for every idle word we've ever spoken, so remember to ask forgiveness daily from God! Not only will he grant forgiveness, He will lead us! When we accepted Christ, the Holy Spirit began to indwell us and began to help us, showing us right from wrong, and giving us a desire to know the Lord more closely and to be more like Him.

Jesus gives His final warnings to the Apostle John as he wrote down what He was hearing after being taken to heaven in the spirit in Revelation 4:1. Jesus asked him to write to the seven churches. In this scripture Jesus is talking to the Church in Laodicea. He said, "I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I will spit you out of my mouth." (Revelation 3:15-16). This scripture happens before Revelation 4:1, which explains the Rapture, so this is a warning to us all! If you are cold or distant from God it is time to draw closer to Him! I know He is knocking on a lot of doors right now and we ought not to deny Him! "Draw nearer to God and He will draw near to you!" (James 4:8).

So do not be afraid! Fear has to do with punishment, and if you are living in fear, then you need to do a bit of soul searching! (Advice I take myself every time I sit down to watch the news these days!). Why? Because John tells us, "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love." (1 John 4:18). This means we have a bit of work to do with God! We will be long gone into heaven when the Seven Seals, Bowls and Trumpets, add up to 21 judgments that will fall on this earth during the Seven Year Tribulation. Half of the world's population will be killed during those seven years! Jesus promised us, "If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened." (Matthew 24:22). He is talking about us! We are the elect because we BELIEVE!

It's really simple. Jesus is on His way! He is coming very soon! Just look at what is going on in the world! Putin is pushing into Ukraine, they are firing upon Ukraine from the other side of the border! It's now considered an escalation by the Russians! The Israeli's are in a battle with Hamas, terrorists who use their civilians to protect their missiles, who go on Al Aqsa TV and not only claim to use civilians for human shields, but they celebrate it openly! ISIS has destroyed an 1800 year old church in Mosul, Iraq, where the tomb of Jonah was! They already showed a video where they destroyed and desecrated the tomb of Jonah! Mosul is very close to Nineveh. (See the book of Jonah). ISIS is threatening the Christians there, telling them they have to pay a fine for protection, leave, convert to Islam or they will be killed! 

What more does it take to see that things are happening so fast, we can't possibly understand, and God doesn't need us to understand. We can try to figure it all out until our heads hurt! He simply wants us to live our lives, day to day, and TRUST HIM! "And he said: "Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven." (Matthew 18:3). So trust Him! If something goes bad, we get sick, or we die, or we're killed, etc., we will immediately be in heaven with Him! Our last breath here is our first breath in Heaven! I just don't want people to lose their rewards! What we do on this earth for others has eternal significance! We may suffer some loss, depending on our motives when we do kind things or tithe in our churches, but we will at least be in heaven with Jesus! 

So please, won't you trust Him as your Lord and Savior today? Please say a prayer, ask for forgiveness and ask Jesus to come into your heart and guide you in your life, that you want to live for Him and Him alone! I have to pray every day because I'm a wretched sinner who needs forgiveness every day! Lamentations 3:23 says that "His mercies are new every morning." Why not take advantage of that blessing? He freely forgives us! 1 John 1:9 says that "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 

God loves us! He wants a personal relationship with us! He wants us to lean on His everlasting arms and live dependent only on Him! That is why Jesus died, so that we could have that personal relationship with The Father! The rest of the world needs our salt and light for they are perishing in their sins! I don't want anyone I know to miss the Rapture! 

Are you ready? Time to get ready for that 1/2 millisecond elevator ride! This is the glorious unfolding! God is revealing more and more to me every day! It's time to stop trying to figure it out and just TRUST HIM! 

The story is far from over! The blessings of God will continue with us throughout eternity! His blessings will NEVER END! This is just the beginning of the beginning! 

I'm Alive & I'm Breathing!

When Ezekiel found the valley of "dead dry bones," recorded in Ezekiel 37:4-10, he was told by God to prophesy to the bones, and they began to become human again, but they had no breath. Then God told Ezekiel to speak a prophesy to the wind, and they began to breathe! He was referring to The Nation of Israel! It even says in verse 11-12, "Then He (the Lord), said to me, "Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel; behold, they say, ' Our bones are dried up and our hope has perished. We are completely cut off.' Therefore prophesy and say to them, 'Thus says the Lord God, 'Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, My people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel.'" 

I believe God is calling to us all! I heard a YouTube video today spoken by a young girl who is hearing from God every day! In the midst of her prophecy she was in tears and I have no doubt God has burdened her for the LOST! For they are perishing in their sins, which is totally un-necessary! May God Bless her HER IN JESUS NAME! A young man I follow on Twitter is also hearing from the Lord and having visions! His name is James McIver. God is speaking through our young people, just as the scriptures say it will in Joel 2:28! "I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions!" That is exactly what is happening with Nicole and James and very likely a lot of other people! While in prayer, I've had visions as well! I've seen Jesus taking the first step down from the throne, it was His foot on the step. Recently, I saw Him walking across the Crystal Sea, and the 24 Elders in Heaven were on their knees, casting their crowns at His feet! HE'S ON HIS WAY PEOPLE! TIME IS VERY SHORT!

Have heart ya'll! We're going home VERY SOON! So don't give up! Jesus carries us when we are worn out, when we are worried, burdened and ready to just say "oh forget it!" He NEVER gives up on us! He carries us instead! So stand on the Promises of God! For He will "Never leave us nor forsake us!" (Hebrews 13:5b).

If God can breathe life into all of His people before we are raptured, and bring them to the Holy City of God during the 1,000 year reign? WHAT MORE WILL HE DO FOR US? So "worry not about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." (Matthew 6:34). If we stay true to God and remain AWAKE then things are going to seem like WOW instead of OH BUMMER! Things are moving at a very rapid pace! Knowledge is being made known in an abundance like never before in history! Let this comfort you, not frighten you! I see things on the news nightly that do scare me, and I just put it in the Lord's hands! I lay it at the foot of His cross! Paul said, "Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you!" (1 Peter 5:7). And He loves you so much! He is grieved that we have turned away from Him! He is our only hope now!

Please commit your life to Jesus or re-commit your life to Him right now won't you? Please come with us to Heaven? I don't want anyone left behind! I am very ill but I feel so very alive! AND THAT IS NO COINCIDENCE!

God Bless all who read this. Please pray for Nicole and ask for God to heal her! She is a blessing! Truly an empty vessel that God is using! For His "strength is made perfect" in her weakness!" (2 Corinthians 12:9). SHE IS ALIVE AND HE IS SPEAKING THROUGH HER AND OTHERS! IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP AND LISTEN!

Are You Ready For the Marriage Supper of The Lamb?

St. Paul tells us "Do not be conformed to this world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect." (Romans 12:2). Jesus said "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, pick up his cross and follow me." (Matthew 16:24). This basically means that when we have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior, He has sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in our hearts after which we should follow the Word of God, study that Word and try to live that Word to the best of our ability. We will all fall down and scrape our knees, and we will do it time and time throughout the day, but "God's mercies are new every morning," (Lamentations 3:23), so we can simply ask for forgiveness and we are clean before God again and can keep going!

There are no works we can do, or add up to pay for our sins. Paul said, "For by grace you have been saved through faith - and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9). So this means there is nothing we can do except trust Jesus for our lives and have faith to live the way Jesus would have lived if He hadn't been "The Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world." (John 1:29). 

How is your Christian experience going? I do my best, but I fall down every day! I have to ask God for forgiveness sometimes several times a day! Even Billy Graham says at age 95 that he is a wretched sinner who needs God's forgiveness! Now that is humility! When we realize that we are totally lost without Jesus, we hold on tighter and tighter to Him, especially when things start going south in our lives! Becoming a Christian doesn't mean things will be hunky dorey! Once we get saved, it is very likely that things won't be totally awesome! It's more likely that as young Christians we will be under constant attack by Satan! For "he roams about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour!" (1 Peter 5:8).

I think the parable of the sower answers a lot of questions for me. I've had trouble and fallen away for years at a time during my life. This parable explains why! "A farmer went out to plant some seeds. As he scattered them across his field, some seeds fell on a footpath and the birds came and ate them. Other seeds fell on shallow soil with underlying rock. The seeds sprouted quickly because the soil was shallow. But the plants soon wilted under the hot sun and since they didn't have deep roots, they died. Other seeds fell among thorns that grew up and choked out the tender plants. Still other seeds fell on fertile soil and they produced a crop that was thirty, sixty and even a hundred times as much as he had planted! Anyone with ears to hear should listen and understand." (Matthew 13:1-9).

The seeds that fell on the pathway that were eaten by birds represents those who listened to the Gospel and didn't understand it or accept it because the devil comes and snatches away the tiny seed of faith that was planted in their heart. The seeds that fell on the rocky places, sprouted and were wilted by the sun, represent those that receive the message of the Gospel with joy, but because there is no deep roots, they fall away almost immediately. The seed that fell on the soil with thorns represents those who hear the message but the worries of the world choke it out of their minds. The seed that fell on the good soil represents those who received the message, latched onto it and began trying their very best to live for the Lord! (See Matthew 13:18-23).

Which one are you? Even if you think it is too late for you, it's NEVER TOO LATE! But I will say this: Jesus is coming back to take His Bride, the Church, home soon! When we disappear, there will be calamities on the earth like no one has ever seen in the history of this world! MILLIONS WILL BE GONE! There will then be judgments that fall on the inhabitants of the world wiping half of the worlds population out! The anti-christ will come to power with his false prophet and they will rule the world with a one world government and a one world religion! If you won't accept either, they will kill you! If you fall into the deception that comes upon the earth after the Christians are raptured off this rock, and you take the mark of the beast, which no one will be able to buy or sell without, then once you've done that, you're kinda done? God will not accept anyone who takes the mark of the beast into heaven and they will go to hell, and yes, hell DOES EXIST! (See Luke 16:19-31 & Revelation 13:16-18).

It's going to be a devastating time of testing here on earth, and frankly? I don't want anyone I know or love left behind and that includes all who read this blog!  God may be sparing the United States at the moment from the things Jesus talked about in Matthew 24 and Luke 21, but it will not last forever! We have turned our faces from Him! He will not let us live in relative peace and quiet for much longer unless we "repent and turn from our wicked ways," in which case He will "heal our land!" (2 Chronicles 7:14).

It's time to put our spiritual goggles on again! It's time to repent from our sins and turn back to God in this country or we will most certainly be doomed! Please take the time to read these scriptures and pray about them? For time is very short! All the bible prophecy guys are saying it could happen any minute! I don't want you or anyone else to be left here! I have been praying for everyone the world over who reads this blog, and it's not mine, it's God's blog! He helps me write it! (You didn't think I was really that brilliant did you? lol).

Latch back onto Jesus. He is waiting for you! He wants you in good standing with Him and His father, for "Whoever denies me before men, I will also deny before my Father, who is in heaven." (Matthew 10:33).

Won't you ask Jesus into your heart or re-commit your life to Him today? It's never too late to start again! I have to start again several times a day! It's not shameful, it's NECESSARY for me to live! I want to live eternally with Jesus and I want to be a part of the celebration in heaven called "The Marriage Supper of the Lamb." (Revelation 16:6-9).

God & Our Constitution

Did you know there was NEVER a precedent for the Supreme Court's decision to take prayer, the Bible and the Ten Commandments out of our schools back in 1962 and 1963? The Court never listed any precedent for their decisions because all of the prior precedents UPHELD prayer, the Bible and the Ten Commandments in our schools! Let this be a lesson for us all, that we should stand on our Christian beliefs ALWAYS and not be bullied into backing down when tested by a local authority.  

The foundation that sets forth three distinctive branches of government is found in Isaiah 33:22: "For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our King: He will save us." This scripture sets forth the laws in our Country, how they are created in our legislature, signed into law by the President and judged by the courts.

The foundation for the logic for the Separation of Powers is found in Jeremiah 17:9: "The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; Who can understand it?"  It was from the writings of Montesquieu in the "Spirit of the Laws," that was reflected upon and used by our House and Senate when writing the Constitution of the United States. This scripture brought forth the idea that each branch should have a way to keep the others in check if they got out of line.

Let me give you just a few examples. Recently, the Supreme Court overturned Obama when he tried to make what are called "recess appointments" to a particular court, thus stacking the court in his favor. The Congress and Senate however, were not in recess at the time, so his appointments were overturned. Franklin Delano Roosevelt tried to stack the Supreme Court back in the 1930's but the House and Senate refused to vote with him because they realized it was unconstitutional.

A law that was passed during his administration called The National Recovery Act and the departments that were created from it, was overturned by the Court and FDR was furious! He had a very rocky relationship with the Supreme Court after that, which is why he tried to stack the court in his favor. The National Recovery Act was passed by the House and Senate in 1933, however the Supreme Court overturned that law. The law gave FDR the right to regulate industry in an attempt to raise prices after severe deflation and stimulate economic recovery. The court struck the law down because the Act promoted economically harmful monopolies. The court was keeping FDR in check, thus, the separation of powers in this instance worked. This example shows why the Founders set things up the way they did! No man could be trusted, for the "heart is deceitful."

The basis for the tax exempt status of churches comes from Ezra 7:24: It was King Artaxerxes letter to Ezra that set forth this principle. "We also inform you that it is not allowed to impose tax, tribute or toll on any of the Priests, Levites, musicians, gatekeepers or other workers at this House of God." This scripture is what the Founders used to give all religious institutions a tax exempt status in our Country. 

Do you see the pattern? The Founding Fathers knew exactly what they were doing and when we look back at history, we can see several things that point to the fact that this is definitely a Country that was set up on basic biblical principles set forth by our Founding Fathers who were Judeo-Christian in their beliefs! The idea for the separation of church and state came from a private letter written by Thomas Jefferson, not from the courts or the first amendment to the Constitution! The courts have been legislating from the bench since 1962 and those decisions were totally against what the Founders originally set up! But the court decided that Atheists, Satanists, Secular Humanists and others had more rights than Christians, even though every prior precedent upheld that prayer, the bible and the Ten Commandments were protected under the First Amendment! 

Is it any wonder our Country is going down the drain? We are going to hell in a hand-basket built by evil men and it is time to stand up and fight for the principles the Founders put in place and fight for the Word of God again! 

It's time to stop saying, that someone else will fix it! WE NEED TO FIX IT! There are people out there who are hurt, suffering, impoverished, lacking personal responsibility and we need to teach them something! Paul said "If a man refuses to work, let him not eat!" (1 Thessalonians 3:10).

It's time for love, but in some cases tough love! We need to turn people around, not just ditch them and scornfully shame them! Our Country needs our help, the people of our Country need our help! We need to be on our knees and asking God to SEND ME! I will go, will you come with me? I'm ready for a fight! I'm not giving in or giving up until I see a change in the way people live, learn, behave, etc. Our schools are a mess...our government is a mess, our whole world is about to crumble and yet we sit and do nothing? That's not what this country is about! It never was and it never should be!

It's time for us to do something instead of just sitting around and waiting for someone else to do the the things we should already be doing! Jesus is coming soon, and personally, I don't want anyone I know left behind! Instead of asking God to do something, we need to realize He already did! He gave the world US! 

It's not enough to do nothing. It's time for US to do SOMETHING! We are still that SHINING CITY ON A HILL that Ronald Reagan said we were! Let's start acting like it!

I'm in Pain, but it's a Beautiful Day!

Have you ever read the account of Job? God favored Job because he was a man who walked upright with God. God even sort of bragged about him to the devil! "The Lord said to Satan, 'Have you considered my servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil.'" (Job 1:8) 

The Lord allowed the devil to take all he had and to push Job to the edge, and even his wife said, "Why don't you just curse God and die." (Job 2:9). Job had lost all of his earthly possessions and all ten of his children in just one day and then suffered countless trials! His friends came to him and said he had sin which was hidden and that was why he was suffering! Some friends right? Who among us could take all that Job did and not get ticked off about it? I am such a wretched sinner, I need God's forgiveness every day and I am grateful that "His mercies are new every morning!" (Lamentations 3:23).

I have been suffering through trials of the body of late but it's not anything like what happened to Job! He suffered all kinds of maladies that nobody I know has ever come close to suffering! The most recent attack of the devil on my body is boils and severe inflammation of the hands, wrists, elbows, etc., and what's really funny is that typing helps the pain stop in the fingers, along with a bit of ibuprofen. (Thank you Lord! Miracle drug!). My doctor put me on prednisone, but it's not really helping and it's only temporary.

So please pray for me and for others who are suffering? I still haven't found out what is causing all of this and rheumatoid arthritis has already been ruled out. It could be caused by a birth defect caused spinal stenosis. I haven't been able to stand, sit, or walk for long periods because the pain is always terrible! It's left me pretty much disabled! But as I said in yesterday's post, I will keep writing this blog until I draw my last breath! I'm in a battle with the devil and his minions, and I rebuke til my rebukers worn out but what helps me the most is just singing and giving Praise to God throughout the storm! Praising the Lord helps A LOT! I love to sing and was blessed with a pretty good voice and I love to sing along to K-Love and all the wonderful music on their station. 

I do not know suffering like Job knew it though, and the verse where God tells Satan that he can have at it, but that he isn't allowed to lay a hand on Job himself? (Job 1:12). Well, I see that as a promise! In the first part of Job 1, it says that Job would sacrifice for himself and his whole family, for perhaps his sons had cursed God! He was sacrificing for all of them! I have four children, none of whom seem to be walking with the Lord at the moment, so if my affliction is so that I can turn them around? Then bring it devil, bring it! I'm ready to go home anyhow! I can't wait for the Rapture, which I fear is coming very soon, so there is still much work to be done but I won't stop until God takes me, or the Rapture occurs! Too many are lost and need a light to show them the way!

Please take some time today and pray that God would use you to lead the lost to Him! Once the last soul that is meant to be saved has accepted the Lord as their savior, it will trigger the Rapture and the Church will be gone from the earth, and the Holy Spirit with us! After that, the lawless one will be revealed and the seven year tribulation will begin! I DON'T WANT ANYONE LEFT BEHIND! HOW ABOUT YOU????????

So for now, I will Praise God in the storm! I'm ready to go anytime He calls me home, but I'm going to fight every day that I am blessed to take another breath and wake up! I woke up this morning with Jamie Grace's "Beautiful Day" in my head, and I keep praying and God keeps speaking! I'm feeling ill, but I also feel unbelievably blessed by God! If you're not in the right place in your walk with God, let me challenge you to cast out all things that are not spiritual and to take all thoughts captive to the obedience of Christ! (2 Corinthians 10:5).

God Bless you all and have a fantastic Sunday! Our God is to be greatly praised in every circumstance, if we bring our petitions to Him, He hears us! It's a promise!  So I will not get anxious! The bible says "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6).

As for the pain and the medical stuff I'm going through? It's not a big deal, I'm gonna let it wash all the bugs off my windshield! Theres just something about the way the Lord shows me His love each and every day! He's the refuge that I just have to get to! He is my High Tower! I run and hide in that High Tower each and every day! Praise God! His grace is just absolutely amazing!

Biblical Prophecy In a Nutshell: Gog, Magog and Israel

Last night, after having seen all the news related to the downing of Malaysian Air Flight MH17, I wrote a blog post, which when seen by many, caused them to stop following me on Twitter. I usually don't get political, but this time? Well, let's just say I've had enough of this big government, getting even BIGGER! 

I'm sorry to report this, but that post was the most successful blog post I've ever written! Why?  Because there is a video of Ronald Reagan giving a speech from the Oval Office regarding the downing of KAL 007 in 1983 by the Soviet Union. Reagan was really upset about this jet being downed by the Russians, even though as he stated in his speech, a 747 has a distinct shape, that is not unrecognizable, even at night. But they shot the plane down anyway, because for some reason, which we will never know, it strayed into Russian airspace. His response to the act of the Kremlin in 1983 is what real leadership really looks like. 

Obama is an out of control and feckless leader! I will say this however: The bible does say, that God promotes whom He will! "The Lord brings poverty and wealth, He humbles and He exalts." (1 Samuel 2:7). So Obama must be just the right guy for the time!  As the country goes down in economic and military might, there will be no way we can come to the rescue of any country not even Israel! Israel will then be forced to depend on their God, the God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, for whom the State of Israel was named. He will be the only one that can save them! If you read Ezekiel 38, you'll see that the "Young lions," (That is America, for we came from Great Britain whose country's symbol is a Lion), says to those coming against Israel in the Gog/Magog invasion, "Are you coming to take a plunder?" (Ezekiel  38:13). 

A lot of people do not understand the references made in Ezekiel 38:2. God tells Ezekiel, "Son of man, set your face against Gog of the land of Magog and the Prince of Rosh, Meshech and Tubal and prophesy against him."  I have been studying eschatology (biblical prophecy) through Hal Lindsey, John Hagee and Dr. Jack Van Impe for YEARS! I finally got an understanding of this passage when John Hagee did a series called "The Coming Four Blood Moons" late last year. We have already seen the first blood moon on April 15, 2014! The next one will be seen in October 2014! Jesus said we would see "signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, Nations will be in anguish and perplexity of the roaring and tossing of the sea." (Luke 21:25). The reference to the sea, could be the terrible tsunami's that have hit in the last few years that killed thousands of people!

As for understanding this passage in Ezekiel, Gog is a man, namely Putin. Magog is a Kingdom, the Soviet Union. The Prince of Rosh is Russia. Meshech is Moscow and Tubal is an ancient city of Russia called "Tubelesque" which is Siberia! In verse 4 God speaks to those who would come against Israel saying, "I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them, splendidly attired, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them wielding swords. Persia, Ethiopia and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet: Gomer with all its troops, Beth-togarmah from the remote parts of the north with all its troops - many peoples with you. Be prepared, and prepare yourself, you and all your companies that are assembled about you and be a guard for them." In verse 11, God tells them "and you will say, 'I will go up against the land of unwalled villages.  I will go against those who are at rest, that live securely, all of them living without walls and having no bars or gates."

God is referring to Israel! The hook in their jaw? It's the oil and technology that the Israeli's have that Putin is going to want, and he's going to want it bad! Now that this excursion in futility against Ukraine is going south? Well, it's anyones guess, but we're certainly not doing anything to help, we can't! We're economically pushed to our limits.

With the references to Persia, Ethiopia, Put, Gomer and Beth-togarmah, Persia is Iran. Ethiopia is the Arab Spring Nations. Put is Libya. Gomer is Germany and Beth-Togarmah is Turkey. They will all be led by Russia in an invasion, which God states in verse 9, "You will come like a storm; you will be like a cloud covering the land, you and all your troops and many peoples with you." God then says they will devise an evil plan to go up against the "land of unwalled villages." This is a direct reference to Israel, who will have walls, but that is not the translation's explanation of "unwalled villages." It means they will have no ally to defend them, meaning America! We will have become so weak as a Nation, we won't be able to defend ourselves, much less Israel!

As the new Islamic State marches, and the loss of blood and treasure seems in vain, just remember: This may be God in action! While I grieve with those who have lost loved ones in Iraq, we Christians win in the end! I've read the end of the story. Have you? Please don't lose heart! Your loved ones faithfulness to this country is never going to be forgotten!  

Oh Lord, save our families for we have sinned against thee! As we humble ourselves, turn from our wicked ways, please Lord, HEAL OUR LAND! If it is your plan to make us less than what we were, we will still walk with You oh Lord, we will fight to remain sinless and we will pray for those who no longer believe, or have grown up without belief! There are still many who need salvation and re-commitment Lord, so SEND ME! That is the purpose of this blog! It always has been and as long as I draw breath, it always will be!

May we all seek justice, seek and love mercy and walk humbly with our God and may God, once again, Bless America! Please Lord? Bring REVIVAL TO THIS WORN AND WEARY LAND!

Malaysian Flight 17: What would Reagan Do?

I have been in prayer off and on since yesterday, for the families of those killed in this terrible terrorist act by Russia that occurred near the border of the Ukraine and Russia yesterday afternoon. One American was among the 298 who were killed when a surface to air missile brought the plane down in pieces in an area of the Ukraine taken over by Pro Russian separatists.

The families must be horrified, and terribly upset, considering another Malaysian airliner is still missing and presumed to be at the bottom of the Indian ocean. We may never know what happened, although it seems that the pilot of the plane downed it on purpose.

I myself am in total disbelief at this shocking incident that occurred yesterday and how the Russians and Putin are trying to cover it up! This was a terrorist act! Is it any wonder they stole the black boxes and took them straight to the Kremlin? The separatists were responsible for downing two Ukrainian transports earlier this week as well as a Ukrainian fighter jet! They even sent a message out afterwards taking responsibility for it bragging on their Twitter feed before removing it as some have reported. The Ukrainian government also intercepted a call from the leader of the separatists who made a call directly to the Kremlin saying that it was "100 percent a passenger jet." 

While some are calling it a horrible mistake, Putin shakes his finger and blames the Ukraine. The truth is that the Ukraine's base near Donetsk was recently taken over by separatists who stand with the Kremlin, Russia and Putin. How anyone could say that the Ukrainians shot that Malaysian airliner down...well let's just say they are very sadly misinformed or just plain ole lying through their teeth! Russia IS directly responsible and it's not the first time something like this has happened, as Putin well knows!

Our President seems to be absent without leave on several issues regarding the Sovereignty of this great land. We still have no answers about Benghazi, Fast and Furious, the IRS Scandal, and several other scandals, which are so numerous at this point, I can't list them all! Now our southern border is being breached daily, without any help by the Federal Government to send in the National Guard to help out while our Border Patrol Agents, some of whom have quit their jobs, are changing diapers and babysitting all the children who came here in hopes of not being turned away. When the Ukrainian government asked for our help? Obama sent in MRE's! They needed night vision goggles but instead? Obama put on his fundraising goggles, which he seems to do everytime something goes wrong!

This is a direct result of Obama's promise to illegal aliens 16 and under that they won't be deported! This humanitarian crisis could be stopped, but all he does is go fundraising! He did it right after Benghazi, he did it while in Texas last week, without going to the border and yesterday without even so much as a moment of silence for the 298 lives cut short by a Surface to Air Missile or SAM, fired by Pro Russian separatists near the Ukrainian border at a defenseless airliner flying at approximately 33,000 feet! The International Civil Aviation Organization told them it was safe??? WHY DON'T THESE IDIOTS LISTEN TO THE FAA INSTEAD? It's partially their fault!

Putin is not afraid of Obama. He is a feckless President. He seems like a professional fundraiser who reports to an invisible President! He never takes the right course, pardon the pun. He apologizes to countries around the world for our Country, even though it is America that helped rebuild a lot of the countries destroyed during WWII, including Germany! How dare he apologize for the United States! Well, I've had about enough. It's time to show everyone the world over, what a REAL LEADER looks like!

This clip, from the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, shows his umbrage at Russia after their downing of a Korean airliner, KAL 007, in 1983, which killed 269 people. He was furious! This clip is about 17 minutes long, but if you watch it all the way through, you'll see what A REAL LEADER LOOKS LIKE! 

We need leadership, not constant fundraising from this President, which seems to be all he really knows how to do! His fellow democrats are looking at at total decimation in November, possibly worse than 2010. As for the Malaysian airliner shot down by Russia? Obama has barely talked about this event and today, ruled out any military action against Russia or the pro Russian separatists.

Reagan pushed our own military budget to the edge of reality, but eventually, in 1991, just a few years after he left office, the USSR was in economic collapse, which led to the dissolution of The Soviet Union. The Iron Curtain fell and The Cold War was over, much to the dismay of Putin, who was a KGB Agent at the time! Reagan's "Peace through Strength" motto worked and the Soviets, well, "there they go again."

Please watch and remember this great president and how he responded to the horrible acts of the leadership of the Kremlin in 1983. We need another Ronald Reagan, and boy do we ever need one bad!

His Grace is Enough

"Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him." (James 1:12).

There is a lot of suffering in the world. People who have lost their jobs, their homes, perhaps they've lost a loved one in an accident, an illness or some other way, even in an emotional way, or they suffer in unending pain, day after day, making them wish they had never been born.

I myself am ill. I suffer from a host of things which I have discussed before, so I won't bore you, but just suffice it to say, some days are harder than others. I always try to have a good attitude, but some days? I'm just plain ole cranky! The pain is a big problem and I wake with it every day. Some days it's very easy to become discouraged. 

Sometimes, I feel like I'm a worthless human being because I can barely walk, or leave my house or drive anywhere anymore. Nobody in my home seems to understand that I need to get out once in awhile and nobody will even take me on a drive! It's hard when you're a shut in to not get completely depressed! I had a spirit of suicide hanging over me for a very long time, but that spirit is gone now, (Praise God)! The devil occasionally will throw an evil picture or thought into my head, even when I'm praying, and I just rebuke him and continue in prayer. He tries to penetrate my "breastplate of righteousness" a lot of times, but I recognize his tactics of warfare immediately and rebuke Him from my presence in the name of Jesus. Some times he taunts me with the same thought over and over for days! The devil is just SO ANNOYING! Geesh! Some days, the ones that are really painful, I reach up to Heaven and pray to God to relieve it. I always hear one scripture ringing in my head, "My grace is sufficient for you for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9).

I'm not in the best of moods today, but it will get better. Everyday we are allowed to wake up and breathe, we should fall on our knees and thank God for just one more day! I have trouble getting on my knees, but I still say that prayer! I figure we can't guarantee our next breath much less another day so I Praise God for each moment!

The best use of my time, instead of complaining, crying or feeling worthless is to write this blog so that others who are going through some kind of suffering can be encouraged. A lot of others have it way worse than I do! They are suffering from heart problems, they have cancer, some of them younger than me, not having the opportunity to live their lives at all before they die. At least I'm not dying from cancer or suffering from Lou Gehrigs or some other horrible disease, so I really have no reason to be cranky over my pain when others are suffering way worse pain than I am. All I have to do is think of others when I pray, and pray for myself, pray for those around this world who are suffering, especially the Christians all over the world who are not just being persecuted but killed for their beliefs and then I feel much better! There is so much suffering that is greater than what I suffer on a daily basis, I can't help but be humbled. Doing good for others, even when you're in a place where you are suffering, brings you joy! Helping others when you feel awful is the best medicine that you could ever receive!

No matter what the storm, we should always praise God, no matter what we are going through! Paul said, "Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus." (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

So that is what I will do. Give thanks for one more day of being able to breathe. For one more day that I got to wake up! For one more day to write this blog! I will never stop thanking Him for all He has done for me! Even in my suffering! 

I'm grateful for my life. But without the Lord, I would completely fall apart. Thank you Lord for your grace! It is enough for me! I remember Your promises Lord, and I know You will never leave me for nothing can separate me from Your love!

I know I have not been forgotten!

Cassie Bernall & Cassidy Stay

Do you remember Columbine High School and the shooting that occurred there? One girl, by the name of Cassie Bernall who was sitting in the library reading a book had a gun put to her head at approximately 11:26 am. She was asked by her attackers if she believed in Jesus Christ. She thought for just a second and then said, "Yes." Just after giving her answer, her attackers shot her with a fatal shot to her head. 

Cassie had been involved in witchcraft and then found the Lord and was involved in her church's youth group and on a video, she stated what it means to further the Kingdom of God.  She said that it means being a loyal friend and a good example to non-believers and getting rid of all hypocrisy and to live for Christ.

Just last week, a crazed ex husband who was looking for his ex-wife, dressed in a phony Fed-Ex uniform and forced his way into a home belonging to the family of his ex-wife. I believe it was her sister's home. He tied up the husband and the wife and all the children including Cassidy Stay. He then shot all of them in the head. Miraculously, Cassidy survived. She had a fractured skull and later said she felt as if there were angels with her telling her to stay quiet. When the attacker left, she immediately grabbed the phone to get help and told police that he was headed for her grandparents house to kill them. Her actions were brave and courageous, and it is an absolute miracle that she survived the ordeal. It's also a miracle that she wasn't in the hospital longer! She was released just two days after the shooting occurred!

Yesterday, she returned to a hero's welcome for a memorial service for her family along with her grandparents. She stated that  "Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one remembers to turn on the light," a quote by Dumbledore from the Harry Potter series. 

Imagine having to bury your entire family? The attacker was successful in killing both of her parents and four of her siblings who ranged in age four to thirteen. What would you be feeling? This girl is going to have a tough time getting through counseling, etc, but she survived for a reason. God is going to do something magnificent through Cassidy Stay! She lived FOR A REASON! Nothing is by chance, God is ALWAYS in control!  As Job said after losing all of his children in one fatal accident, "The Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away, blessed be the name of the Lord." (Job 1:21).

Cassidy's bravery reminded me of Cassie Bernall and her brave answer the day she was killed by two students from her own school. Her answer was an affirmation that faith in God is a gift of grace and her death and how it occurred is a meaningful reminder to all Christians everywhere, that someday, we may be asked the same question! Biblical prophecy shows we are very close to Jesus coming to take His Bride, The Church, into the clouds, and into Heaven forever. But persecution of Christians around the world is getting much worse! There are Christians being slaughtered all over the globe, but for some reason, not much is said about it.

I will be praying for Cassidy, and hope that others will join me in being committed to praying for her. She has a long road ahead, but I know she is going to be speaking her mind about what happened to her and how those angels helped her to stay down, play dead, and then save what family she had left.  

God Bless Cassie Bernall and her strength, for she will never be forgotten, and God Bless Cassidy Stay and her family. It will be a difficult road, but I believe God thinks she is up to the task set before her to be an example to others and her story, though it may be sad, horrible and unbelievable, is a shining example of what God can do in the very worst of times in our lives. I hope we all learn from both of these young girls examples. They showed all of us what it means to truly live and follow Christ! 

This post is dedicated to the memory of Cassie Bernall and to the Stay Family. God Bless you Cassidy as you mourn, grieve and move on with your life. You are a shining example to the rest of us and we appreciate your bravery and your courage. God Bless you and thank you for showing us what bravery really is. "Oh death, where is thy victory, O death, where is your sting."    (1 Corinthians 15:55).

Holly Fisher and Twitter Hate

A couple of days ago, I saw a story on the news about Holly Fisher, a mother of three whose husband is a Veteran.  She had posted a photo of herself holding her gun and her bible on Independence Day on Twitter and the hate began. It made her FAMOUS!  What do people think is going to happen when they hate someone simply because they believe in Jesus and the 1st and 2nd amendments of our Constitution? Like Duh?

The hashtag, #ISTANDWITHHOLLY has been making the rounds on Twitter and the whole country has seen the story because someone on Twitter posted a photo of Holly's picture with the gun and bible, next to another woman who was an Islamic Extremist, holding her weapon and a Quran. They called Holly an "American Taliban."  How the two could even be compared is just totally beyond me, but that is what the left does!  All they do is deny, besmirch and try to destroy others with their words, their actions and their hatred of the Christian right wing in this country, calling all of us "extremists." It just doesn't make any sense!

Holly didn't deserve what they did to her, and I think that the hate on Twitter needs to stop!  It ain't cool people, so cut it out!  I've blocked many people just over my last post!  I had to change the title of it from "Pray for the Safety of Israel" to "Pray for the Safety of Israel and the Palestinian People!"  People saw the title and said I was praying for "the terrorists in Israel."  I was, but I was also praying for the women and children in Gaza who were being forced to be human shields!  Had they read the post, they would've seen that, but they didn't, obviously. (Again, like DUH?)

I truly wish people would just close their mouths, think for a moment, and then walk away from the computer/phone whatever their Tweeting from and think about how their words can hurt, harm and destroy people. I had one guy say to me, "I'm going to F*** you" on my feed, and I immediately reported it to Twitter. People who spread hate and lies shouldn't be allowed on the site, and should be removed!  I don't do it. I am a peaceful and loving person as a lot of my friends could attest to, and I try to encourage others instead of tearing them down! That is the purpose of this blog.

I think Holly is an amazing person, a great mom and a wonderful wife to an honored Veteran. People like Holly are true Patriots and they all deserve better than what they receive, but the left loves to hate!  

As a Christian?  I have to stand back, think about it and choose my words very carefully! If I say the wrong thing to someone saying hateful things to me, then what good am I doing for the Lord?  NONE AT ALL!  I need to give a peaceful, organized and careful response because if I don't, then all hope of their salvation may go out the window!  DOES ANYBODY GET THAT?  Our words have CONSEQUENCES not just to the people we Tweet them to, but to others as well!  

Those that are hurt by others words, if they are Christians, need to be especially careful about how they respond to that hate!  Jesus said, "You will be hated by everyone because of Me, but He who stands firm to the end will be saved." (Matthew 10:22).  He also said, "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."  (Matthew 5:44) and "You will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death and you will be hated by all Nations because of me." (Matthew 24:9). We should all take a step back when someone posts something that is hateful towards us. We should pray for them continually because Paul said, "Bless those who curse you and pray for those who revile (hate) you." (Luke 6:28).

So please, stop and think before posting something that may send a non-believer on a course that will make them hate all Christians and eventually condemn them to an eternity in hell!  For "Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers all wrongs." (Proverbs 10:12).  We could all use a little more wisdom when it comes to our tongues! "The tongue can bring life or death. Those who love to talk will reap the consequences." (Proverbs 18:21).

To those of us who truly Love God, we need to start changing how we communicate with those who are hateful towards us because the love of Christ is not in them, it's in us! We need to stop the hate and start to spread love instead! There is no room for error right now, as Jesus return is very nigh! Jesus said, "But I tell you, that every careless word that people speak, they will give an accounting for it on the day of judgment."  (Matthew 12:36).

Please be careful what you say to others? There is a reason God gave us two ears and only one mouth!  Let's remember to listen, learn, and to not return anger with wrath! Let us all be "Quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger." (James 1:19).

Pray for the Safety of Israel & The Palestinian People

Last night I was watching TV and saw the damage to the Gaza Strip that is occurring from the bombing raids of the Israeli Air Force on militant Hamas locations, homes, etc.  In the middle of it all, I saw a Palestinian woman weeping and sitting on the ground.  I immediately paused the television to pray for both sides.  I don't want to see innocent people being hurt, and the Israeli Defense Ministry does everything it can to warn people to get out of an area before bombs are dropped because they know the militant Islamists hide behind their own civilian population.  

I started to cry, knowing that Palestinian children are paying the highest price because of this, and I started to pray.  I know we are close to the Rapture and I pulled out my bible and just held it close, weeping for the people.  The Palestinian people are notified through either leaflets falling to the ground from the Israeli Air Force's planes or a phone call to the home of a militant Hamas leader warning the inhabitants to vacate the area because a bomb is about to be dropped upon them.  But their leaders call others to come to the scene as human shields instead, and because of that, so far, 84 Palestinians have paid with their lives, some of them just children!  Some were Hamas militants and they deserved what they received for the rockets they have been launching since the three Israeli teens who were missing were found buried under rocks and bushes in Hebron in the West Bank.

As I cried for the Palestinian people and their plight and prayed that no Israeli's were hurt or killed,  I looked up and through my tears saw the most beautiful sight! There was a Cross sticking up from the rubble of a home bombed by Israel!  Tears were already streaming down my face, but when I saw that, I thanked God that He is sending signs to the Palestinians of His love!  The Cross that was found in the rubble of 9/11 suddenly came to mind, and then I really started to cry! This was GOD sending them a message!  He is trying to show Himself to the Palestinian people in a way that some of them would understand!  

Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the Life, no one comes to the Father but by me."  (John 14:6).  These people are terribly deceived and they need our prayers!  I am on Israel's side, but I'm also on the side of the peaceful Palestinian civilians who just want to live in peace with their Israeli neighbors!  I bet a lot of people don't know that Israel has a very peaceful Palestinian citizenry living in Israel, who would never hurt anyone!  When those three boys went missing in the West Bank, Palestinians put together search teams and went to look for them! They are not the horrible people we believe them to be even though they may be deceived in their beliefs.

I hope you will join me in praying FOR BOTH SIDES!  The land of Israel was given away in hopes for peace, but the Palestinian Authority refuses to recognize the State of Israel.  They are firing rockets into neighborhoods, and as Israeli civilians hear the sirens, they run for a bomb shelter, some only having 15 seconds to do so!  These rockets came from Iran, (or should I say hell?) and a lot of them are reaching further into Israel then ever before, one being shot down by the Iron Dome Missile Defense system that was headed for Tel Aviv Airport!  

What I'm wondering now is how long before Russia and Iran start to launch offensives against Israel?  In Ezekiel 38 it talks of "Gog and Magog."  Through the prophet, God said, "I will put a hook in your jaw," which means that He will cause Russia to want Israel's oil and technology!  The hook is in place! Look what Putin is already doing to the Ukraine?  All the oil lines run under that country! If you know anything about eschatology, (biblical prophecy), then you understand that Gog is Putin and Magog is Russia! If you put a T-Square and place it on a map, starting in Israel and going directly north, you wind up in Russia!  If you go directly south, you find the new Islamic State led by this al Bagram character, who has been named their "Caliph," along with Iraq, Syria, Turkey and Iran.  This new Islamic State,  just paraded a scud missile through the streets on it's way to, I believe, Lebanon, where they will launch it at Israel!  These people are on a mission to destroy Israel, and push her people into the sea, as "I'm A Nut Job" in Iran once said.

What will it take?  God's divine providence!  He is going to protect Israel, for "He who watches over Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps."  (Psalm 121:4).

Please pray for the people on both sides!  It saddens me as a mother to think of what those women are going through, and it's just not fair to keep them there! Their leaders should let them leave, not hide behind them!  They are evil men, who deserve whatever they bring down upon themselves, but the women and children are not guilty of hurting anyone!  They don't deserve to be killed and Israel does everything it can to keep the civilian casualties from happening, but the people there just won't listen!  We may see a ground invasion soon, and I hope they wipe the militants out without killing any innocent people.  

Won't you please join me in praying for our brothers and sisters in Israel and for the civilian Palestinians who did not ask for this?  I know God wants us to pray for both sides! Before it is over, more Palestinians will be gone, and Israel could end up in a major conflict, not just with Hamas, but with Russia, Iran and the new Islamic State!  

God Save Israel and her people!  May He keep them safe and show Himself to all the people in the region so that they can no longer turn their face away from Jesus!  As our Israeli brothers and sisters hide in bomb shelters, let us lift them all up to the Lord for their safety and for the Sovereignty of Israel!

God is the High Tower, their shelter and their protection from the storm! May He protect Israel and her people now as they fight to survive the barrage of rockets being launched into their country on a daily basis. No other country on earth would stand for it, and it's time to start backing Israel up! Terrorists are targeting their people and they have a right to defend themselves against angry militant Islamists who for some reason, hate them with a hate that is just completely unjustified.

Billy Graham & My Mom

There is one thing about Billy Graham, that I have always marveled at.  Every time I hear him give one of his talks, he talks about what a wretched sinner HE is!  This is true HUMILITY and should be in all of us as Christians!  This man has roots that would make a four thousand year old cedar tree tremble!

I remember every time Billy Graham was on, my Mother had the TV tuned in to watch him!  She didn't act much like a Christian, and could be quite abusive, but when she passed, well, let's just say that God showed Himself to me in a marvelous way! I used to worry: "Did I witness to my Mom about Jesus enough? Is she going to heaven?"  I knew for years that when she died, I would feel tortured over the "not knowing."

Three days before she passed, I got a phone call.  My Step Dad told me she was the most lucid she had been in weeks and that they were taking her back to the hospital to see if there was anything else they could do for her.  Just before the ambulance arrived, I talked to her.  I told her "I love you Mommy.  Please fight! Keep fighting for us!  I don't want to lose you!  Besides, what would Rod do without you?"  He took the phone and said, "She's crying! What did you say to her?"  I didn't tell him until a few years later what it was I actually said.  I just couldn't break his heart, when it was already breaking.  

After I hung up the phone, I said out loud, "Oh Mom, you're going to go and leave us on JFK's anniversary!"  Then the worst guilt....she wouldn't let me come see her from the time she was diagnosed with colon cancer and when I talked to her that day, I asked her, "Should I come now Mom," and she said, "No wait till Rod tells you to come."  I was upset that I hadn't been down to see her, and the guilt immediately set in, "What are her friends going to say?  I never even went to see her, or say goodbye?"

Suddenly, I was enveloped in what felt like a cocoon of peace!  And then, I heard the words, "It's okay, she's mine." I then began to cry. The peace was there, and then gone in an instant!  

How gracious is God to reach out to me and let me know where she was going to be?  He knew I would've tortured myself emotionally, and I got a lot of grace that most people never get!  Why me?  I don't know, but I am SO GRATEFUL!  (Thank you Lord!)!  I had tried for years to witness to her and here was this moment, this ONE SECOND of such powerful peace, that it was totally unexplainable, just as the bible says!  "Peace that surpasses all understanding."  (Philippians 4:7).  

My Mother, Beverly Jean, at age 74, passed on November 22, 2009. The anniversary of the assassination of John Fitzgerald Kennedy.  He was her favorite President (2nd only to Ronald Reagan), and even though I was only 1 year and 3 months old, I remember the way she and my Dad embraced and cried the day he was killed. I don't know why I remember, but I do! It's something I will never forget.  So not only did God give me that unbelievable peace about where she was going, HE GAVE ME THE DAY SHE WOULD BE GOING HOME!  HOW ABSOLUTELY AMAZING IS THAT?

At her funeral, the Pastor talked about a black water beetle that lives in Africa.  He said that when the beetle dies, it's shell opens and releases hundreds of beautiful little baby dragonflies into the air.  My Mom loved dragonfly jewelry!  (I think he must've been the one who was visiting her in the hospital because he knew that!).  Then we were late for the graveside service, because we hadn't lived in Southern California for over 25 years and nobody waited for us!  There was no processional, so we wound up in downtown LA instead of at Rose Hills in Whittier!  But God wasn't done showing me HIS POWER!  We were SUPPOSED to be late, because God's timing is ALWAYS PERFECT! When we arrived, (20 minutes late), we sat down, and the Pastor said, "Let us pray."  Goody two shoes me, I bowed my head and closed my eyes.  But none of my Mom's friends did!  I loved them, but they were a classy bunch of heathens!  lol.  

Later at my Mom's house where the reception was held, everyone was asking "Did you see it?  Did you see it?"  I'm like "See what?"  Then I was told, that a beautiful dragonfly, floated over the beautiful red roses that draped her casket, right in front of her picture.  I never saw it, but I didn't need to!  Too many others saw it and I took their word for it!  Someone told me later that the Pastor was tapped on the shoulder, and they pointed to my Mother's casket and even he saw it!  It was the WOW factor X 1 Million!  It was all anyone talked about at my Mom's reception!  They were all BLOWN AWAY!  I'm sure some thought it was a coincidence, but not me!  I knew that God was confirming that what I felt and heard Him say to me was true!  My Mom was in heaven and that I would see her again some day!  

Oh what gracious peace God gave me over her death!  It's going on five years and her photo's, which were never displayed in my home before she died, are still up.  Knowing where she was, I was able not just to forgive her but I was also able to remember Her in a better way, and to honor her like I had never honored her before.  And for that Lord, I will eternally be grateful!

May God Richly Bless You all today, and show Himself to you in an amazing way as He did for me that particular day!  I feel His presence often when I am praying, and I tell you with certainty, that after that experience, I will never be the same.  Jesus is my Rescue!  He rescues me from myself almost every day! If I go more than two days without watching a sermon, or reading the Word, I get a bit down.  I have health problems that keep me from attending church at present, and I'm waiting for the miraculous healing power of God to fall upon me so that I can give my testimony about His power and how it has affected my life!
